A pre-Halloween update with many frightening tales of goalkeeping horrors etc that features the Milan goalkeeper who was ruled out of action after an accident in his hotel room, the German international who injured himself celebrating a goal, the Swedish goalkeeper who tried to move the goalposts (literally) and the Argentina goalkeeper with a fondness for the number 23. If that wasn't enough, there's also the tales of three goalkeepers who took up acting after hanging up their gloves, including the former body builder who became something of a minor Hollywood action figure in supporting roles.

There's also the Spain international who spent five days in prison after hitting a fan, the Genoa keeper charged with an on-field assault and the striker who came off the bench to keep goal for his side. Alongside the keepers that won their respective Player of the Year titles their the French goalie that began life as a jockey, Arbroath's sole Scottish international and the Argentine goalkeeper who was banned by his association for wearing a headband. There's also some more debuts - good,bad and quirky, the Croatian keeper that wore a t-shirt with the Virgin Mary on it for good luck, the Baptist minister who preached while keeping goal in Miami and the Nutter who played for who played for Nelson. There's also some more nicknames and a host of goalkeepers with sporting relatives.
